I feel blasphemy against the holy spirit might be forgiveable only if it frm an unbeleiver ignorant of the person of the holy spirit,but blasphemy from a person who has had a encouter with the holy spirit is a sin that might not be forgivable...
Although this might be contradicted cos the bible says 'even the sons of man' but really in reality pple usually talk against God or Jesus they hardly remember to call the holy spirit and that because: the holy spirit reveals himself to we sons not sons of men so they duty is up to us to preserve our relationship with the holy spirit... You can hardly blasphemy against someone you hav'nt seen or know ...

@oluwamary: blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is different from grieving the Holy Spirit(Eph 4:30) and also different from Quenching the Holy Spirit (1Thess 5:19). Blaspheme is to curse/speak evil of the Holy Spirit; Grieve is to hurt/vex/sadden the Holy Spirit; while, Quench is to suppress/subdue the Holy Spirit. ...

Blasphemy (evil speaking/curse/abuse) against the Holy Spirit is the unforgivable sin in this world and the world to come...that's quite scary. Jesus said this when they accused HIM of being possessed with an evil spirit(Beelzebub - Satan) and casting out demons by devilish means (Mk 3:22). Hence, we should be careful of how we accuse ministers especially those that perform healing... ...
